Proofreading and Editing Charges:

A formal business letter might cost $10.00 per page, whereas a 4-6 page manuscript prepared for publication might cost $40.00 - $60.00.  Special rates apply to dissertations and theses. 

Writing Charges:

On average, documents written from scratch or from a client's outline or notes would cost between $12.00 per hour (for simple, one page letters or other documents) to $40.00 per hour for articles, reports, and other more lengthy documents depending on type and scope of project.
